Lighter and more powerful than
before, the new Volkswagen Golf GTI looks set to take the hot-hatch segment by storm.
It will be available with a
2,0-litre Trubopetrol in two state of tune. The standard version develops 162kW
while models equipped with a performance package produce 169kW.Both unit have
350N.m of torque and will be offered with six-speed manual and DSG
transmissions.
